Learning is fun at the Louisville Zoo!

The Louisville Zoo is truly a “living classroom” and the Zoo’s Education Department offers exciting “hands-on”, “minds-on” experiences for Zoo visitors throughout the year.  Learning is fun for everyone at the Zoo so we’ve developed programs for all ages, from pre-schoolers to adults.

Children’s programs tap into their natural curiosity about their world and are designed to meet the specific developmental needs of each age group.  Classes and camps are kept small to make it possible for educators to provide plenty of individualized attention.

Teen and adult programs delve into more challenging topics while Family programs offer the best of both worlds!

By enjoying the world around us we can all participate in protecting our environment today and in the future.  Take a look at all we have to offer – then come explore the wonderful world of learning at the Louisville Zoo.

Did You Know?
According to the IRS the cost of specialty camps can qualify for the child care credit.  This includes the cost of computer camps, soccer camps and the like.  The child must be under 13 and the expenses must be incurred so the parent or parents can work.  For more information contact you tax accountant or visit this area on the IRS website.
