Throo the Zoo 5K Run/Walk

This is Louisville’s most unique road race because the course goes “Throo the Zoo!”

“Scotty” our Baby Elephant will graced the front of the run t-shirt with an illustration by Ralph Bergmann. This is a true collector’s item as only 1,300 shirts were available to race participants. Tommy Lee of WXMA 102 the Max will emcee for post race awards and door prizes. Vitaminwater will have a mobile marketing unit with samples, music and giveaways post race. Asics gave away 10 pairs of shoes and other items as door prizes. Whole Foods sampled healthy snacks. Delicious and nutritious Bountiful Bread samples, fresh bananas and apples from Paul's Fruit Market, Powerade and Dasani water were provided after the race.

1305 (a new record) registered fro the 15th annual Throo the Zoo Run/Walk. We had 1152 finishers. Thanks to our title sponsor, Norton Audubon Hospital and all of our generous sponsors for their support. Special thanks to all the race participants and supporters for contributing to the success of this fundraiser for their hometown Zoo. We appreciate everyone's feedback.
