Event
Description
Zoofari! is a creative black-tie event that raises funds for the
Louisville Zoo. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, June
13, 2009. Zoofari! 2009 will commemorate the Zoo’s 40th Birthday and
celebrate its position as one of the true gems in the Kentuckiana
community. The evening will begin with an hors d’oeuvres & cocktail
social on Zoo grounds, where guests will have an opportunity for up
close and personal experiences with magnificent Zoo
animals. Depending upon their ticket choice some guests will sit
down to a delightful gourmet meal, while others have the option of
joining us for hors d’oeuvres in the silent auction tent. All guests
may bid on animal sculptures, art, jewelry, sports packages and
much, much more that will be available throughout the evening. A
multi-media enhanced Zoo animal adoption/auction will follow dinner
in the Oasis Tent, and afterwards guests will enjoy entertainment
including live music and dancing.
