Amy
Taylor joins the Louisville Zoo as Group Sales Supervisor
The Louisville Zoo recently hired Amy
Taylor as its new Group Sales Supervisor.
Taylor comes to the Zoo with a wealth of
experience, including sales operations for the major league baseball
team Atlanta Braves and special events management for the National
Football League’s Super Bowl XXXIV. Taylor most recently served as
the Louisville District Director for the Muscular Dystrophy
Association.
“I am thrilled to be an official member of
the Zoo family,” said Taylor, who joined the Friends of the
Louisville Zoo Board in 2007. “The Louisville Zoo is a wonderful
organization with a mission I believe in of bettering the bond
between people and our planet.”
In her role as the Group Sales Supervisor
Taylor will be working with groups, organizations and corporations
to plan fun, quality outings at the Zoo.
“The Zoo to me is like a big back yard of
fun. There is so much to do with groups that the possibilities are
endless,” she said. “All we have to do is be imaginative.”
Taylor infuses superior customer service
into every aspect of her job.
“I will do whatever it takes to make sure
every client of mine leaves the Zoo feeling better than when they
arrived,” she said.
Taylor, who moved to Louisville 2004, also
serves on the board for the Junior League of Louisville and is a
member of the Young Professional Association of Louisville.
