Louisville Zoo offers special
discounted tickets for corporations and associations through
e-ticketing
Do you want to provide your employees
and members with special perks and extra benefits?
It’s easy with Louisville Zoo’s new
e-consignment ticketing program where corporations and
associations can register to receive special discounted Zoo
tickets.
“This new e-consignment ticketing
program offers discounts of up to $5.85 per ticket, a 34 percent
savings,” said Louisville Zoo Marketing Director Maureen
Horrigan. “And it is super easy for employers to administer.”
Corporations or associations simply
register for the program at
https://tickets.louisvillezoo.org/signups/affiliates.asp.
Once approved, employees or members effortlessly go online to a
password protected area of the Zoo’s website, purchase their
discounted tickets by credit card, print out their tickets (at
home or at work), and bring them to the Zoo. General admission
tickets are valid during regular operating hours any day the Zoo
is open.
Designed for companies or associations
with 50 or more employees or members, the e-consignment
ticketing program is typically managed through a company’s Human
Resource Department or through another administrator who manages
benefits or ticket programs.
Since the Zoo launched the
e-consignment ticketing program in August, more than 120
companies and organizations have registered.
“This can replace or compliment the
hard stock consignment tickets that are normally sold through
human resource offices,” Horrigan said. “It makes it
uncomplicated for employers, because they don’t have to handle
any tickets or payments. They just simply give employees a link
and password and the employee can order and pay for their
tickets online and print them out.
“More and more, we’re seeing that
people like the convenience, flexibility and immediacy of online
ticketing plus no ticket lines at the Zoo. The online program
also gives us the flexibility to easily test new products like
the new Combo Ticket which includes Zoo admission plus unlimited
rides on the Zoo Train, Carousel or Tram. The Combo ticket is
only available through the e-consignment program at this time”
Horrigan explained. “We see a very promising future in
e-ticketing.”
