Zoo’s May 31 Health & Safety Safari
A superhero who fights for justice with his scientific genius
will visit the Louisville Zoo on May 31 as part of Becker Law
Office’s Health & Safety Safari. Zoo visitors can meet Iron Man,
the Marvel character who is currently on the big screen in a new
Paramount movie, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Oasis field
stage. (So don’t forget your camera!)
Kids and families will also be able to
learn about safety at various stations throughout the Zoo which
will feature organizations like the American Red Cross,
LifePreserver and Lead Safe Louisville. Kosair
Children’s Hospital will be bringing their Bike Safety
Rodeo where children can ride a bike through a road course while
learning about bike safety, injury prevention and “rules of the
road.” Skeen Chiropractic will be on hand giving relaxing
massages and educating about spine health. Ronald McDonald will
also make special appearances at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Visitors who pick up a special
“passport” bookmark at the Becker Law Office booth will be able
to have it specially stamped at the various stations throughout
the Zoo. Once all stamps are collected, the bookmark can be
shown at the Zoo exit for a special giveaway.
