Louisville Zoo extends its hours in June, July and August

National City presents Family Twilight Hours and Family Twilight Beach Parties

Courtesy of National City Bank, families can spend more time at the Louisville Zoo Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays throughout June, July and August.*

As part of National City’s Family Twilight Hours, the Zoo will extend its closing time to 9 p.m. on those days. (Last admission is at 8 p.m.)

“National City is pleased to continue to sponsor family-friendly events at the Louisville Zoo. We hope many in our community will have the opportunity to experience our world-class Zoo this summer,” said Chuck Denny, President and CEO of National City, which has been the presenting sponsor of this event since 2002.

Family Twilight Hours also includes special discounts and ride privileges for Zoo members. It’s never too late to become a Zoo member where you get a full year of excitement, adventure and unlimited FREE admission to the Zoo during regular Zoo hours. Come every week or every day! The current membership campaign is presented by Meijer. For more information on membership, visit www.louisvillezoo.org/member or call (502) 459-2287.

Also compliments of National City, the Zoo will host two Family Twilight Beach Parties on June 20 and August 8. Check out details at http://www.louisvillezoo.org/events.

National City has been a great supporter of the Louisville Zoo over the years and just recently made an overall pledge of $150,000 to the Zoo, with $100,000 going to the Zoo’s Glacier Run Capital Campaign.

*NOTE: There will be no extended hours Saturday, June 14, due to Zoofari or Saturdays in July due to ROARchestra.
