Special
DVD commemorates baby elephant’s first year
Baby African elephant Scotty, the first baby elephant born
in the state of Kentucky and the Louisville Zoo’s history,
is featured in a new DVD documenting his first year of life.
The 30-minute DVD, produced and
filmed by MetroTV, includes special behind-the-scenes
footage, interviews with keepers and staff and an in-depth
look at Scotty’s progression throughout his first year.
“MetroTV is thrilled to have
partnered with the Louisville Zoo to share the story of
Scotty’s first year,” Louisville MetroTV Manager Matt
Schuster said. “This was a special project, and we hope
everyone enjoys watching it as much as we did making it.”
The special Scotty DVD is available
