Louisville Zoo Keepers treat
animals to “cool” enrichment
WHAT | Louisville Zoo’s
orangutans will be avoiding the heat and having fun by cooling
off with a special ice pool enrichment from keepers. Louisville
Zoo Supervisor of Animal Training Jane Anne Franklin will also
be on hand to talk about the importance of animal enrichment and
answer any questions.

important part of animal husbandry at the Louisville Zoo and
promotes the expression of natural behavior.
