Zoo’s winter schedule starts Sept. 2
Starting September 2, the Louisville
Zoo will begin operating on its winter schedule. From September
2 to February 28 the Zoo’s admission windows will be open from
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (exit by 5 p.m.)
The Zoo’s Calistoga Splash Park at
Glacier Run is scheduled to close Sept. 15 and will reopen again
next spring. The Zoo is closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New
Year’s Day.
Admission fees and other purchases help
the Louisville Zoo to preserve and care for species that are
threatened and endangered as well as support critical
conservation education programs. In addition, 15 cents of every
